Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Manager will play a vital role in recruiting and onboarding exceptional volunteers who align with Maryam Support Line’s values and mission. You will ensure we attract, engage, and onboard individuals who embody the principles of compassion, professionalism, and integrity while fostering a positive volunteer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract skilled and passionate volunteers, ensuring diversity and inclusivity.

  • Volunteer Sourcing: Contribute to the identification of key platforms and networks to source candidates, including community groups, social media, and professional networks.

  • Screening and Interviews: Conduct interviews to assess candidates’ alignment with Maryam Support Line’s mission and values.

  • Onboarding: Collaborate with training teams to ensure smooth onboarding and preparation of new volunteers for their roles.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with charity leadership to understand current needs, and provide regular updates on recruitment progress.

  • Retention and Development: Assist in creating strategies to retain volunteers and support their growth within the organisation.

  • Compliance and Records: Ensure all recruitment processes comply with Maryam Support Line’s policies and maintain accurate volunteer records.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate Maryam Support Line’s mission and inspire potential volunteers to join the cause.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Build meaningful relationships with candidates, team members, and external partners.

  • Organisational Abilities: Manage multiple recruitment campaigns and maintain a structured approach to onboarding and record-keeping.

  • Cultural Sensitivity: Understand and respect the diverse backgrounds of volunteers and callers.

  • Commitment to the Mission: Embody the values of Maryam Support Line and demonstrate a strong commitment to the cause.

Requirements

  • Proven experience or passion for recruitment, HR, or volunteer management.

  • Passion for supporting Muslim women and upholding Islamic ethics.

  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in using online recruitment tools and communication platforms.

  • Availability to work remotely with flexible hours.
