Job Title: Mosque Outreach Officer
Role Overview: The Mosque Outreach Officer is responsible for engaging and building relationships with mosques across the UK to increase awareness of Maryam Support Line. This role involves contacting mosque representatives, coordinating the placement of our posters, and organising community outreach initiatives to help promote our services to Muslim women in need of emotional and spiritual support.
Key Responsibilities:
Engagement & Relationship Building:
Proactively reach out to mosques and Islamic centers across the UK to introduce Maryam Support Line and establish strong, ongoing partnerships.Poster Coordination & Awareness Campaigns:
Arrange the distribution and display of Maryam Support Line posters in mosque spaces, ensuring maximum visibility to congregants.Event Collaboration:
Collaborate with mosque leaders to participate in community events, Friday khutbahs, and Islamic talks to raise awareness about our services.Outreach Strategy:
Develop an effective outreach plan to engage mosques regularly, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up to maintain engagement.Feedback & Reporting:
Collect feedback from mosques on the effectiveness of campaigns and work closely with the Maryam Support Line team to track outreach progress.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage mosque leaders and community members effectively.
Knowledge of the UK Muslim community and mosque networks.
Organised and detail-oriented, with strong coordination and follow-up skills.
Passionate about supporting Muslim women and the mission of Maryam Support Line.
Location: Remote (UK-based)
