Celebrating Volunteer Success 🥳: Fantastic Feedback from Our First Bi-Annual Volunteer Survey

At Maryam Support Line, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do, and their dedication drives the meaningful support we provide to sisters in need. Recently, we conducted our first bi-annual volunteer feedback survey, and the results left us truly inspired!

Here are some of the highlights:
100% Volunteer Satisfaction: Every single volunteer expressed satisfaction with their experience at Maryam Support Line. Volunteers who had taken 7 or more calls shared that they were very satisfied.
Feeling Supported: All volunteers reported that they always felt supported while volunteering with us. This is a testament to the collective effort of our team to create a nurturing and encouraging environment.
Preparedness: Every respondent agreed that they felt adequately trained for their role reflecting the strength and consistency of our onboarding process.
Most Enjoyable Aspects: Volunteers highlighted that what they loved most was "helping others" and "reminding others about Allah". These answers reaffirm the spiritual and emotional fulfillment that our volunteers gain through their work.
Heartwarming Feedback: One volunteer shared, "Great experience and lovely people."

While we are overjoyed with this positive feedback, we also recognise there’s room to grow. Volunteers mentioned feeling "somewhat connected" to one another, reminding us that as a remote-first charity, fostering meaningful relationships between team members is crucial.
