Celebrating 1,000 Calls: A Testament to Compassion and Dedication

Six months ago, Maryam Support Line was just a vision—a dream to provide a pillar of support for Muslim women who needed someone to listen, support, and encourage them. Today, Alhamdulillah, we are celebrating an incredible milestone: 1,000 calls answered, each one a story of resilience, courage, and sisterhood.

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our amazing volunteers. These women, often balancing their own families, careers, and challenges, have selflessly given their time to uplift sisters across the UK and beyond. From their quiet homes, they create ripples of mercy and compassion that reach callers experiencing loneliness, uncertainty, or pain.

Every call is a testament to the impact we can make when we come together for a common purpose. Whether it’s a sister navigating the complexities of marriage, a young woman struggling with her mental health, or a mother seeking support for her family, our volunteers have been there—listening, encouraging, and reminding each caller of the power of hope and faith.

Looking to the Future
While we celebrate this milestone, we are not stopping here. In the near term, We hope to expand Maryam Support Line to a national helpline accessible by phone, offering immediate support to sisters wherever they are. But our longer term mission, is to make this service global, connecting women across borders in their moments of need, In Sha Allah.
